Shop your Closet: Halloween

It's never too early to start planning your Halloween costume. But if you're looking for a last-minute idea, or aren't looking to get too dressed up then I've got you covered. Here are 4 simple, last-minute costumes that you can find find in your own closet:

1. Joan the Riveter

Everyone can find denim in their closet, and this costume is the perfect excuse to wear every piece you have. To pull off this look all you need is your favorite jeans, denim shirt, bandana (preferably red) and a pair of boots. To add, get creative with your make up, it can be pretty flirty and glam with liner and lashes. Roll up your sleeves and you can be a total badass for the night!

2. Sandy from Grease

This one is pretty classic and super easy to recreate. Just pair a crop top or bodysuit (preferably off the shoulder), with a pair of black pants, a belt and some red heels. I've changed it up a little adding a choker and pairing ripped jeans instead to add a little more edge, but I think Sandy would approve. Make sure you curl your hair too. Plus, this makes a great couples costume if you can find a Danny!

3. Mean Girls

If you want an excuse to wear pink head to toe, then this is the costume for you. I had this pink Juicy Couture jumpsuit and paired it with a white-T, making this the comfiest option for sure. I think it's a super fun 'on Wednesday's we wear pink' reference, oh and p.s. it's October 3rd.

4. Eleven from Stranger Things

This one is for those of you who want something a little more 2016. If you haven't been caught up on Netflix's latest hit Stranger Things, then stop what you're doing and go watch it! Avoiding any spoilers, my favorite scene from the show is when Eleven steals waffles from the store, and that's the look I was going for. Just pair a pink dress (preferably with a collar), a denim jacket, high knee socks and converse. And don't forget to carry around a box of waffles!
