September Favorites

Here's a list of what I've been loving this month:

Skin Care

Origins GinZing

Metallic face masks have been super trendy lately and this one is my favorite by far! It's a peel-off mask that refines and refreshes your skin, and comes in a beautiful metallic rose gold copper. It's a fun mask to do on occasion when your skin feels a bit blah, and def fun to do with friends because it looks real cute in pictures.

Origins Drink Up Intensive

I've been doing a lot of traveling this month and it's definitely effected my skin. I picked this up at Sephora while I was desperately looking for something to fix my dry and dull skin. The idea of an overnight mask never really appealed to me because I thought I'd have to go to bed with a greasy face. But I've fallen IN LOVE with this stuff! It goes on super smooth with no color, but a slight relaxing scent. The mask is definitely a deep moisturizer, yet feels really light and fresh on the skin. I woke up the next morning with glowing, moisturized and soft skin. I definitely suggest you try this on your next trip, and it's great for those long flights too!

BrowFood Eyebrow Enhancer

If you're like me and tend to fill in your eyebrows often, then you may have noticed a few more sparse areas than usual. Unfortunately brow products, whether wax, pencil or powder, tend to cause a lot of fall out. I was first introduced to this product by my brow lady, and it's def a game changer. Much like LashFood (which you should try out if you want longer voluminous lashes) I put this stuff on twice a day, when I have no makeup on of course, and the results are impressive. After 10 days the sparse areas in my brows were a lot fuller, and now I don't have to spend 15 minutes a day trying to fill in my brows!

Twinkle Facial Razor

I'm sure you've heard a lot of hype around facial razors, and tbh I was a little skeptical about them at first. But I think they are great for quick fixes when you're on the go, and especially while traveling. I wouldn't recommend you use these as a permanent solution for your facial hair, because depending on your skin and hair type it can cause ingrown hairs, thick hair or zits. So try it out in a small area of your face to start and see how your skin reacts. Another tip is to use a face oil or some soap to dampen your skin before use, and ALWAYS moisturize your face afterwards.

Makeup Revolution London Ultra Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice

I'm def not the type to change up my shade of blush, so blush palettes are perfect for me. I never really know how to shop for blush because a part me feels like they all look the same. This Revolution palette is a really affordable option that has a great range of necessary blush shades to match any look, and allows me to change it up every once in a while.

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Powder Glow Illuminator in Ice

I picked up this blush and highlighter product at the drug store not really expecting much from it, but it's become on of my favorite illuminators. I use it either all over my face as an illuminator or as a simple brow highlight. It's a total dupe for the Hourglass face illuminators, and it comes in two other shades.

NYX Lip Lingerie in Lace Detail

I've been dying to try these out, and I'm pretty much a sucker for anything nude. The NYX Lingerie line applies silky and smooth, and this nude pink beige liquid lipstick is probs my favorite shade from the collection. However, I do recommend that you use a lip liner underneath for a longer lasting wear.

NYX Cosmic Metals Lip Cream in Speed of Light

While I was shopping at NYX for the Lip Lingerie, I spotted these gorgeous metallic liquid lipsticks. And though I never thought I'd be one to wear metallic colors on my lips, it's kinda my new obsession. I love wearing this rose gold shade on it's own or even on top of my favorite nude to add a little twist. I think we're going to me seeing a lot more metallic lips this season, and I'm way too excited!

Dry Bar Triple Sec 3-in-1

I was asked to pick up a couple of these for a close friend while I was in NYC this month, and since I've heard her rave so much about the product I thought I'd pick one up for myself too. I've always had trouble with volume because I have fine, straight hair and I've seen a huge difference with this product. I spray it in my hair just like dry shampoo after I'm done styling my hair and it really lifts and texturizes my hair for the rest of the day. Plus it smells incredible, I always get compliments on the scent!

& Stuff

Cards for No Occassion

I mean it's no secret that I LOVE great design, especially well designed cards. I love collecting these special made cards with no reason or occasion in mind, but when something comes up I'll write a little note and give it to someone special.  Otherwise you'll find these cards stuck on my wall of stuff for inspiration.

Kodak Disposable Cameras

A little old school I know but it's super fun! I've been carrying around a couple of these while I've been traveling this month, taking them to music festivals and parties. My friends and I love taking fun photos, and it's kinda cool to wait and see how they turn out. Def bring one along next time you're hanging out with your friends or on a trip and see how your memories turn out!
